Meet The Trainer

Hey, I’m Logan Macias, born and raised in Murrieta, and I’ve been training people for the past five years—but my journey started long before that.
At 16 years old, I hired my older brother, Kyle, as my personal trainer. He had been a coach for over 10 years, and I knew I needed accountability and guidance if I wanted to take my health seriously. That experience showed me firsthand that having the right support at the start of your journey makes all the difference.
Lifting weights changed my life. It wasn’t just about building muscle—it was about building confidence, discipline, and mental resilience. My energy improved, my hormones balanced, and for the first time, I felt in control of my health. That’s when I realized: health is the foundation for everything.
How My Experience Shaped My Coaching
During my senior year of high school (COVID class of 2020), I had a unique opportunity, I didn’t have to attend school, so I took a leap and started my first personal training business. I was all in, but after two years of living the lifestyle, I realized I needed more experience and knowledge to truly help people.
-
Certified with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) – This gave me a solid foundation, but real-world experience was just as important.
-
Worked at Crunch Fitness – Spent a year learning the fundamentals of coaching different types of clients.
-
Mentored by My Brother – Spent three months training under him, working with all levels and ages, before taking over his business for a year when he moved to Utah.
At this point, I was established in the area, working with clients of all backgrounds, but another opportunity came up—one that allowed me to develop something bigger than myself.
Building Something Bigger
I was offered the role of Fitness Director for Jacked Up Fitness, a startup company focused on weight training. Imagine Peloton, but for strength training—we built all-in-one weight racks with a Smith machine, barbell rack, and cable pulleys.
My job?
✔ Develop a training app for our at-home customers
✔ Help launch a gym in Temecula
✔ Create a strength training program for people training at home
At 22 years old, I’ve had the opportunity to gain incredible experiences in coaching, business, and helping people transform their health. After five years in the industry, I’ve trained hundreds of clients with different goals, health conditions, and injuries.
Why This Matters for You
I know what it feels like to start from zero, to need guidance, and to struggle with self-belief. I’ve been there, and that’s why I coach with patience, accountability, and a real understanding of what it takes to create lasting change.
No matter where you’re starting from—whether you’re out of shape, dealing with an injury, or just need a better system to stay consistent—I have the experience to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.
The Healthy Lifestyle Approach
Why Full-Body Weight Training?
In a world where quick fixes and trendy workout programs promise unrealistic results, full-body weight training stands out as the most effective, sustainable, and time-efficient way to build lasting strength, burn fat, and improve overall health. It’s not just about lifting weights—it’s about training the body the way it was designed to move, creating a balanced, functional, and resilient foundation for life.
The Philosophy Behind Full-Body Training
Most traditional workout plans focus on isolating muscle groups—chest day, leg day, arm day. But the human body doesn’t function in isolation. Every movement you make in daily life engages multiple muscle groups at once, so your training should reflect that.
By training your entire body in each workout, you:
✔ Maximize Efficiency – Busy professionals don’t have time for long, ineffective workouts. Full-body training gets more done in less time.
✔ Train Movement, Not Just Muscles – Life isn’t about flexing a single muscle—it’s about moving efficiently, lifting things, and staying strong for the long haul.
✔ Optimize Recovery – Spreading the workload across all muscle groups prevents overuse injuries and allows for better recovery between sessions.
✔ Burn More Calories & Body Fat – Engaging multiple muscles at once requires more energy, increasing calorie burn and fat loss without excessive cardio.
✔ Keep Your Joints Healthy – Strengthening supporting muscles reduces joint pain, improves mobility, and prevents injuries that come from muscle imbalances.
Strength That Translates to Life
A well-designed full-body weight training program doesn’t just make you stronger in the gym—it makes you stronger in life. Whether you're lifting your kids, carrying groceries, running your business, or handling stress, the resilience you build through training carries over into everything you do.
This approach isn’t about getting the perfect physique—it’s about building a body that works for you, not against you. When you focus on strength, movement, and longevity, you gain the ability to live a high-energy, pain-free life without being limited by stiffness, fatigue, or injury.
At the end of the day, training should enhance your life—not take over your life. That’s why I coach my clients to train smarter, not harder, using full-body weight training as the foundation for lifelong health, strength, and mental resilience.
If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels with random workouts and finally build a strong, capable, and healthy body for life, let’s get started.
Whole Food Nutrition: A Simple, Sustainable Approach to Eating
The way you fuel your body directly impacts your energy levels, digestion, immune function, and overall health. That’s why prioritizing whole, nutrient-dense foods is the foundation of a balanced and sustainable nutrition plan.
Unlike processed foods that are filled with additives, artificial ingredients, and empty calories, whole foods provide your body with essential nutrients in their most natural form. This means:
✔ Sustained Energy – No more mid-day crashes or sluggish mornings
✔ Better Digestion – Improved gut health, less bloating, and better nutrient absorption
✔ Stronger Immune System – Your body gets the vitamins and minerals it needs to fight off illness and function at its best
✔ Healthy Weight Management – Whole foods naturally regulate hunger and keep cravings in check
✔ Better Heart & Hormone Health – A diet rich in whole foods supports balanced hormones, stable blood sugar, and long-term cardiovascular health
The 80/20 Rule: Balance Without Restriction
One of the biggest mistakes people make with nutrition is going all in on a restrictive diet, only to fall off track later. That’s why I follow and teach the 80/20 rule—eating whole, unprocessed foods 80% of the time, while allowing 20% for flexibility and enjoyment.
This approach helps you:
✔ Build a sustainable, long-term way of eating (no more yo-yo dieting)
✔ Enjoy your favorite foods without guilt (because all-or-nothing mindsets lead to failure)
✔ Develop a healthier relationship with food (fuel your body while still living your life)
What This Looks Like In Real Life
🔹 80% Whole Foods: Lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, quality carbs, and healthy fats—foods that nourish your body and keep you energized.
🔹 20% Flexibility: Your favorite meals, occasional indulgences, or a night out—because a balanced diet is one that fits your lifestyle, not controls it.
Whole food nutrition isn’t about being perfect—it’s about making smart choices consistently so you can feel great, stay strong, and enjoy life without constantly stressing about food.
If you’re tired of restrictive diets and ready for a real, sustainable way of eating that supports your health and goals, let’s make it simple and effective—together.
Cardio: A Simple & Effective Approach to Movement
Cardio isn’t just about burning calories—it’s about keeping your heart strong, your energy high, and your body resilient. Incorporating consistent movement into your daily routine improves cardiovascular health, supports metabolism, and helps manage stress more effectively.
Unlike the traditional view of cardio as endless treadmill sessions, cardio should be enjoyable, sustainable, and fit naturally into your lifestyle.
The Benefits of Daily Movement:
✔ Supports Heart Health – Strengthens your cardiovascular system for better endurance and circulation
✔ Boosts Energy Levels – Regular movement increases oxygen flow, reducing fatigue and mental fog
✔ Aids in Weight Management – Combined with strength training and whole-food nutrition, cardio helps maintain a balanced metabolism
✔ Reduces Stress & Improves Mood – Movement releases endorphins, helping you feel more relaxed, focused, and mentally sharp
✔ Promotes Longevity – An active lifestyle supports overall well-being and quality of life as you age
Cardio That Feels Less Like a Workout & More Like Life
Movement shouldn’t feel like a chore—it should be a natural part of your daily life. Instead of forcing long, grueling cardio sessions, try integrating activity into moments you already enjoy:
🔹 Take family walks – Connect with loved ones while getting your steps in
🔹 Outdoor workouts & hikes – Enjoy fresh air and vitamin D while strengthening your heart
🔹 Playful movement – Sports, swimming, biking—whatever makes movement feel fun for you
🔹 Daily habits – Parking further away, taking the stairs, or standing more throughout the day
Cardio doesn’t have to be all or nothing. The key is consistency—small efforts every day add up to long-term results. By making movement a habit, you create an active, sustainable lifestyle that keeps you feeling strong and energized for years to come.
The Power of Routine & Habits
Your success in health, fitness, and life isn’t determined by motivation—it’s built through consistent habits and routines. The small daily choices you make create structure, discipline, and long-term progress.
When you establish routines around training, nutrition, recovery, and mindset, you remove the stress of decision-making and make health a natural part of your life.
Why Routines Matter:
✔ Reduces Decision Fatigue – Having a plan in place eliminates the guesswork, making it easier to stay on track.
✔ Builds Discipline & Consistency – Motivation comes and goes, but strong habits keep you moving forward.
✔ Improves Physical & Mental Health – A structured approach to training, nutrition, and recovery leads to better energy, less stress, and clearer thinking.
✔ Creates Balance & Fulfillment – Routines ensure that health fits into your life, rather than consuming it.
How to Build Lasting Habits
The key to sustainable progress is simplicity and consistency. Start with small, manageable changes and build from there:
🔹 Set a Morning or Evening Routine – Create a daily rhythm that includes movement, nutrition, and mindset work.
🔹 Schedule Workouts Like Appointments – Treat training as a non-negotiable part of your day.
🔹 Plan Your Meals in Advance – Having whole-food options ready makes it easier to stick to your nutrition goals.
🔹 Prioritize Recovery & Relaxation – Stress management is just as important as training—allow time for rest, reflection, and self-care.
Building strong routines doesn’t mean perfection—it means consistently showing up for yourself, even on the tough days. Over time, these habits become part of who you are, creating a foundation for lifelong health, resilience, and success.
